Our Vision

Is to create a culture that encourages all children to be active and have positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles.

We believe high quality physical education and school sport will contribute to a range of outcomes for our children.

This promotes physical literacy while supporting physical development, movement skills and body confidence and also contributes to their physical, mental and social well-being.

During the school year of 2023-2024, the school has received £17990 to improve the quality of sport and PE provision at Milton St John's CE Primary School. Our vision is to create a culture that encourages all children to be active and have positive attitudes towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles. The impact of this funding will be measured by school and progress of pupils will be highlighted.

The funding will develop a programme which includes:

- High quality physical education as part of the curriculum.

- Extracurricular clubs for those wanting to progress skills.

- Enough competitive school sport opportunities for those children who want to take part.

- Leadership opportunities.

- A full and varied PE CPD.

- A comprehensive action plan for all areas of PE & school sport.

We believe high quality physical education and school sport will contribute to a range of outcomes for our children. Not only does it equip young people with physical literacy while supporting their physical development, movement skills and body confidence, but it also

contributes to their physical, mental and social well-being.
