St John's Church

All people are welcome at St John's Church which has strong links with our school.  St. John’s church is a friendly place offering a welcome to ALL.  This is a beautiful church on the edge of the Peak District, and is ideal for weddings, baptisms and funerals.  We are part of the Parish of Mossley covering the whole town, and with another worship centre at St  George’s Mossley.

At 9.30am on Sundays there is a service of Holy Communion (on the 1st Sunday of each month this is replaced by a short all age service).  Tea and coffee is available after our services.

Cell groups - home based Bible study groups - meet in the week, when there is an opportunity to share with other people and study the Bible together.  It is a good place to support each other.

On the second Wednesday of each month, 9am-11am we host a breakfast bar - drop in for a chat, with a bacon buttie and a cuppa!

We are delighted to host the children, staff and families from Milton St John's CE Primary School for their end of term / half-term services and award ceremonies.  Children have the opportunity to perform, sing hymns and pray together as well as receiving their awards.
